The purpose of this program is to allow us to keep a list of customers and purchase information per client with different layers of security and data confirmation.
You will have access to the source code of the original program, as well to the design on it. A summary of the functions that this program provides are:
A database.
A module to enter and delete customers from the database.
A module to view and edit the contents of a customer individually.
A module to add purchases to a customer. Each customer can have an unlimited amount of purchases.
The content of each customer will be incomplete at the moment of entry. We need a module that will let us get all the incomplete records, and give us the possibility to complete them.
<> A certification module
- The way that this module will work is that every new record(customer) will have by default 'not certified', this module will display everything that has not been certified, display some information about that customer, and then allow a user with a specific permission level to certify the record.
An error report module
- Any user with permissions should be able to mark a record as an error, write details about the record, write details about the error, and send that to an administrator that will be able to check the error and fix it.
- The administrator needs to have access to a list of solved and unresolved reported errors.
An user creation system, each employee will have an individual user with a password, and specific permissions.
A permission system, I want to be able to create groups with access to specific modules.
A report module
- Each report should be saved automatically in the server into a specific folder as a PDF
- A button to print the report physically
- One report is made out of the customers database and displays each customer individually based on a sales representative
- The second report displays displays all customers under certain conditions as a group based on a sales representative
An import module
- Some customer general information will come in a file from a third party, we need to import that data into a different table in the database.
- Some purchase general information will come in a file from a third party, we need to import that data into a different table in the database.
