ABOUT ME

My strength in appointment setting can be traced to my previous work experienced in 2004 with VXI, a call center company here in the Philippines. I was assigned in 2 accounts both as an outbound sales agent. First, was with AT&T and next was with Sprint. I used to sell long-distance and mobile phone services to Americans for almost two years. Our training was like the "Boiler Room and The Wolf of Wall Street." The only way to escape from our rebuttals was to hang up the phone.

In order for you to know more about my experience, I also made a video profile on this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuDvLMz94NA.

On the other hand, I tried doing a virtual assistant business with my friend who's in California US in 2008. We got 4 clients. One was Dumatek. I did some email marketing for them. We also had E-Cycle of California. I called companies with old office devices for recycling. Then we had Pool Cover Specialists. Here, I set appointments for this company's sales agents. I can make 2 to 3 appointments in a 4-hour shift. At that time, they pay me $500 and later on I was offered a better base pay of $700 to set appointments for my boss. It was about mortgage buyout business. My boss back then installed a Mojo Dialer into my computer and it worked. It was a good software and it has an automated dialing system. I even trained VAs who worked for us. In fact, we were the pioneers in appointment setting because, in 2008, this term wasn't existing yet. Likewise, there were few virtual assistants back then and it is so difficult to get clients. Clients can easily run away and not pay us. So I left the business and tried other stuff like teaching English online to Japanese, Koreans, and Chinese for more than 3 years. Then, I went back to the call center to gain more experience. I also became a technical support agent for Norton anti-virus that made me a Super-savvy internet user. In fact, I stay on the internet for more than 8 hours and always sleep on it then forget to shut it down. By the way, my internet speed is at 35 Mbps. I have 3 working computers. I'm also so a voice over talent and an audio editor, so when it comes to sound quality, you can count on me. I had made 67 audio productions for McDonald's Philippines. Aside from having a noise-canceling headset (USB), I have 3 condenser and 2 directional microphones. Another thing is my place is set for the virtual assistant service.

My last job in the call center was back in 2014 and left in 2016. This was an inbound call. I was with Barclaycards US handling credit cards for their customers.

Anyways, I have some samples of real calls in setting appointments recorded for this year 2019. Below are the links:
