This excersize is done using vlookup, index and match functions , Drop down list is created along with auto population of records.

I made demo for large data base creation of data, processing ,organizing and summary shown on the dashboard.Dashboard contains extracting result for selected roll no along with other records pertaining to that roll no.For making this i usedCHAR, RANDBETWEEN, PASTE SPECIAL, SUM,MAX ,MIN ,AVERAGE,IF, NESTEDIF ,INDEX/MATCH, COUNT, COUNTIF, LARGE AND SMALL FUNCTIONS. On dashboard using dropdown list if you select roll no result for that is extraced.

i created unique alpha numeric codes (1000 nos) of length of 8 characters.example "6ghRYklv". Excel file is attached for your reference.

I GENERATED 1000 UNIQUE CODES OF ALPHANUMERIC AND CREATED SEARCHABLE DROPDOWN LIST FOR THOSE UNIQUE CODES.
